Many companies I work with have similar issues that stem from having siloed departments with low cross-pollination and a lack of clarity of their roles outside of their departments.
They frequently have leadership team members who haven’t managed teams before or inherited staffers who haven’t been managed well. Through this work, teams find greater cohesion, inspiration and alignment, individuals learn better people management and communication skills (including giving good feedback) and everyone benefits from improved accountability agreements that are immediately palpable and linger for years.
Agency owners I have worked with were able to pull away from day-to-day management by relying on their teams to solve problems together and were (finally) sleeping well at night, taking non-working vacations and falling in love with their jobs again.
Working with a struggling tech agency that was seeking new ownership but was not saleable, we recalibrated the culture (and habits) in a matter of weeks through targeted workshops--and the agency was successfully sold within months.

“Having Lynette and Wild Alchemy work with our agency was the most productive and enjoyable thing we’ve ever done as a group. Aside from great team building and exercising some creative muscles, our business improved immediately and dramatically.
The team gained new confidence and began to enthusiastically approach clients and prospects with an “anything is possible, let’s figure out how to make good things happen” mentality. Our new business win percentage hovered in the 70% range, margins went up as team members figured out how to provide great work and service at lower internal cost and, in the year following our sessions with Lynette, our revenue, margin, and net profit all exceeded the previous 10 years combined.”

My superpower is finding insights and activating them internally in order to grow
brands (and ultimately businesses.)
I work in all market research methodologies and have a long history of creating
successful positioning and communications strategies. Alignment sessions
(multi-department and/or multi-agency) are critical to the success of
implementing these strategies and I have decades of facilitation success.
Ideally, our work together would touch multiple bases...for example, I recalibrated how E&J Gallo developed creative briefs and trained thousands of people on how to write, receive and leverage this remarkable tool. Many workshops were facilitated for the creative team to enhance their buoyancy, efficiency and ideation and helped unify them as a department. I spoke to Women in Wine event, coached Executives and rising stars and conducted nearly all of their qualitative sessions for their fine wines (15 years for perhaps a hundred brand projects) and innovation projects.
Apothic was an innovation project that was developed through a series of
qualitative sessions. We found an unmet need and position in the market and
developed a concept, name and ideal label design. We also did research to fine-tune the product line and powerful advertising for NA. Through this work,
Apothic met its 5-year goals in 6 months.

“We engaged Lynette for one thing, and it turned into at least five things. She came highly referred as someone who does a lot of work with creative companies and is familiar with the pain points. She talked us into an employee survey, helped us create language we use on the client development side, led an offsite management meeting, spoke to our sales group, and introduced her Lynette-isms into our minds.
Manage your energy, not your time is a personal favorite. Ten- degree shifts is another. I use that term on a weekly basis. We were sponsoring an event in Las Vegas and rather than just send in some money and our logo we opted to provide content in the form of Lynette. I was proud to share her with other women in my industry.

I know I’m a better leader as a result of meeting and being connected to Lynette. She’s all the things—smart, wise and brilliant, witty, firm, clever, open, creative thoughtful, business minded, accountable, savvy in a million ways, compassionate and just lovely.
She’ll provide value to any organization, and she’ll hold you accountable. She’ll become an extension of your brand and your culture. There are people you meet along the way who you connect with and make you better. Lynette is that to me.”

While leadership and brand are also about people, the work I do specific to people revolves around assessment and skill sharing. This work can take the form of 1:1 coaching (for Executives and Rising Stars), Leadership Team Coaching and Organizational Training workshops and/or Speaking at retreats (and often a combination.)
While I use industry-standard tools such as 360’s, CliftonStrengths and DISC assessments, I also have an internal survey that I have used for years to develop a positive and productive culture, redesign creative processes and embed greater efficiency (killing vampires like too many unproductive meetings, too many emails, etc.) and hold skill-sharing workshops to provide critical skills, connective tissue and much-needed inspiration.
Many of these sessions can be punctuated with artifacts that keep the
inspiration and new agreements alive: a book on How to Write a Killer Brief, a book on Momentum (personal branding and productivity), and digital booklets on efficiency (Killer Process) and ideation tools (Brandthink Agency Toolkit) among others. Note that many sessions are a custom design of topics that address themes uncovered in the internal survey.

“Training with Lynette Xanders was transformative. Her deep expertise in the advertising world is matched by a rare ability to unlock creative potential in others. She challenged me to think beyond the obvious, pushing my ideation and strategic thinking into new territory.
Lynette equips you with sharp, actionable tools that help to elevate every aspect of your creative process, from ideation to Wild Alchemy | 20 67 55 68 00 | [email protected] pitching. If you’re serious about leveling up your conceptual thinking and unleashing new creative firepower, I can’t recommend Lynette highly enough.
